Police charge teens after pursuit in Pakenham

Police have charged three teenagers following an alleged pursuit in Pakenham this morning.

Investigators arrested the trio, all aged 17, after they observed an allegedly stolen white Jaguar travelling on Henry Road, Pakenham about 1.45am.

The vehicle was monitored by the police airwing before the vehicle came to stop in Officer South Road, Officer.

A police vehicle was allegedly rammed during the incident.

It is alleged the Jaguar was stolen from an address in Marriott Boulevard, Lyndhurst sometime between 10pm on Wednesday evening and 4.40am yesterday.

It is alleged the Jaguar was later sighted at an attempted aggravated burglary in Glen Moidart Drive, Berwick and as well as an aggravated burglary in Pink Hill Boulevard, Officer yesterday morning.

A 17-year-old Narre Warren boy has been charged with four offences relating to the aggravated intentional exposure of police officer to risk by driving.

He has also been charged with damage to emergency vehicle by reckless driving, dangerous driving while being pursued by police, fail to stop motor car on request, theft of motor car, reckless conduct endanger life, unlicensed driving, possess cannabis, possess other drug of dependence and possess prohibited weapon.

Two 17-year-old Pakenham boys have been charged with theft of motor car and commit indictable offence while on bail.

All three teenagers have been remanded in custody to appear at a children's court at a later date.
