Police charge three after investigation into drug supply at Orange

A woman and two men have been charged with multiple drug-related offences following an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in the state's Central West.

Shortly after 12pm yesterday (Monday 3 May 2021), officers from the Central West Police District Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at a home on Adina Crescent, Orange.

Police spoke with the occupants, a 48-year-old woman and two men, aged 23 and 33.

During a search of the trio police allegedly located and seized methylamphetamine, MDMA, knuckle dusters and cannabis.

A search of the home allegedly uncovered property suspected of being stolen or the proceeds of crime, drug paraphernalia, explosives, an electronic stun device and cash.

The trio were arrested and taken to Orange Police Station.

The woman was charged with supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity, possess prohibited drug, possess prohibited weapon without permit and handle explosive/precursor without authorisation.

The older man was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity, possess prescribed restricted substance and possess prohibited weapon without permit.

They were both bail refused to appear at Orange Local Court today (Tuesday 4 May 2021).

The younger man was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Orange Local Court on Monday 7 June 2021.
