Police Charge Three Men Over Drug Dealing

Three young men were arrested for alleged drug dealing in the city overnight.

Police approached the men, who had allegedly been acting suspiciously in Rosina Street, Adelaide about 3am on Friday 22 March.

One of the men ran off and was chased by police. He was arrested a short time later and a quantity of white powder, suspected of being cocaine, and MDMA pills were located nearby.

Two other men were arrested and also allegedly found in possession of white powder and MDMA pills.

All three, a 20-year-old Hillbank man, a 20-year-old Davoren Park man and a 19-year-old Craigmore man, were charged with drug trafficking and bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 June.

The Hillbank man was also charged with hinder police and the Davoren Park man was also charged with possess prohibited weapon after being found with an extendable baton and breach of bail.
