Police charge three men with drug trafficking in Richmond area

Melbourne Divisional Response Unit police have charged three men today as part of an operation investigating drug trafficking in the Richmond area.

A 35-year-old St Albans man has been charged with trafficking heroin, possess heroin, deal property suspected of being proceeds of crime and negligently deal property suspected of being proceeds of crime.

A 42-year-old man from Clayton South has been charged with trafficking heroin, possess heroin, deal property suspected of being proceeds of crime and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

A 49-year-old Richmond man has been charged with trafficking heroin.

All three men were also charged with breaching the directions of the Chief Health Officer.

They were held in custody to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court this evening.
