Three teenage boys have been charged following an alleged assault in Sydney's south.
About 11:30pm on Thursday (22 May 2025), emergency services were called to Carvers Road, Oyster Bay, following reports of an assault.
On arrival, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were told a 19-year-old man had been assaulted by three youths armed with a machete.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for head and hand injuries before taking him to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Following inquiries, about 2pm yesterday, Friday 23 May 2025, three youths attended Sutherland Police Station where they were arrested.
The boys, two aged 16 and one aged 17, were charged with special aggravated break and enter commit serious indict offence-inflict grievous bodily harm, take drive conveyance and destroy damage property.
All three were refused bail to appear before a Children's Court today, Saturday 24 May 2025
Inquiries continue to locate the fourth teenager.
