Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged three teenagers following an armed robbery in Pakenham on 3 November.
It is understood an allegedly stolen grey Range Rover Evoque pulled up beside a man and boy walking on Slattery Place just after 9am.
Two boys and a girl exited the vehicle before one of the males allegedly demanded items from the pair.
When the 19-year-old Lang Lang man refused to hand over an item, the male allegedly assaulted him and slashed him with a knife.
The second victim, a 16-year-old Lang Lang boy, pushed the male away and the pair fled towards a nearby railway station.
It's alleged the girl picked up one of the victim's bags and the three offenders fled in the stolen Range Rover.
The 19-year-old man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old boy was not physically injured.
The stolen Range Rover allegedly stole petrol from a service station on Thompson Road, Cranbourne North about 15 minutes later.
Enquiries revealed the vehicle was stolen from an Elwood property about 4.40am that morning.
Investigators arrested a 16-year-old boy from the Frankston area later that day.
He was charged with robbery, theft of motor vehicle and handle stolen goods and was bailed to a children's court at a later date.
A 14-year-old boy from the Kingston area was arrested on 6 November.
He was charged with armed robbery, intentionally cause serious injury, theft of motor vehicle, theft, committing an indictable offence whilst on bail and other assault offences.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before a children's court later this month.
A 16-year-old girl from the Greater Geelong area was arrested on 11 November.
She was charged with robbery, theft, theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods, unlawful assault, shopsteal and was bailed to a children's court at a later date.
