Police charge two after aggravated home invasion in Thomastown

Gang Crime Squad detectives have charged a man and a woman following an aggravated home invasion in Thomastown early yesterday morning.

Investigators have been told three offenders, armed with a knife, forced entry to a home on the Boulevard in Thomastown shortly before 4am on Wednesday.

Once inside the premises the offenders allegedly made demands for drugs, before realising they had the wrong address.

The offenders fled the scene prior to police attending.

Two residents home at the time were uninjured.

A 19-year-old Truganina man has been charged with aggravated home invasion, fail to disclose pin code, intentionally cause injury, and two counts of assault police.

He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 25 January.

A 24-year-old Donnybrook woman has been charged with aggravated home invasion, robbery, commit offences whilst on bail and fail to provide pin.

She was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 25 January.

The third offender remains outstanding at this stage.
