Police charge two for Bannockburn armed robbery

Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man and a teenager following an armed robbery at a service station in Bannockburn yesterday.

The Bannockburn pair were arrested in Bannockburn yesterday afternoon.

Detectives charged an 18-year-old with two counts of armed robbery and one count of burglary.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Geelong Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Detectives also charged a 15-year-old with two counts of armed robbery.

He was released on bail and is due to appear at a children's court at a later date.

Detectives are still searching for a third man and the investigation continues.

It's alleged three men held up a service station on the Midland Highway just after 1am before stealing cash and cigarettes.
