Two men have been charged following an alleged pursuit in Sydney's south west yesterday.
About 1pm yesterday (Thursday 23 October 2025), officers attached to Camden Police Area Command were called to Jenolan Circuit, Harrington Park, following reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area.
When officers attempted to pull over the sedan, the driver allegedly failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated.
A short time later, the car was stopped on The Northern Road, Oran Park, and two men, aged 18 and 20, were arrested.
Police allegedly located and seized a firearm, gloves, and a jerry can inside the vehicle.
Both men were taken to Narellan Police Station where they have since been charged.
The 18-year-old was charged with:
- Drive conveyance taken without consent of owner
- Never licensed person drive vehicle on road
- Use etc offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention etc
- Use class A vehicle displaying misleading etc number plate
- Dishonestly possess interfered with unique identifier
- Possess unauthorised pistol
- Acquire prohibited firearm part no authority to do so, and
- Possess ammunition without holding licence or permit or authority.
The 20-year-old was charged with:
- Be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner
- Possess unauthorised pistol
- Acquire prohibited firearm part no authority to do so, and
- Possess ammunition without holding licence or permit or authority.
Both have been bail refused to appear at Bail Division - Court 3 today (Friday 24 October 2025).
