Police have charged two people with trafficking in a controlled substance, following a search of a Huon Valley property earlier today.
The search was undertaken following information provided by members of the public. As a result, police seized an amount of cannabis packaged for distribution, cannabis plants and growing equipment, and other drug-related items.
The 49-year-old woman and 19-year-old man charged were bailed and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court in January 2022.
