Police charge two teens over Hampton Park armed robbery

Detectives have arrested a boy and girl, both aged 17, in relation to an armed robbery and assault in Hampton Park last week.

Investigators have been told the 22-year-old male victim was approached by a group of people in Hallam Road last Friday morning on 8 November.

It's alleged the group demanded the victim's wallet and phone.

The victim refused and was assaulted, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

A male teenager has been remanded in custody charged with armed robbery, assault and car theft.

The female teenager has been charged with car theft and granted bail.

Both will appear before the Children's Court.

Police are searching for two other youths in relation to the incident.
