Police charge woman after 2020 hit-run collision in Horsham

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have today charged a woman following an alleged hit-run collision in Horsham last February.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives charged the 49-year-old woman with fail to stop after collision (fatal collision) and fail to render assistance (fatal collision).

The Riverside woman was bailed to appear before the Horsham Magistrates' Court on 31 May.

The charges follow an incident on Dooen Road about 5.50am on 16 February 2020.

A 24-year-old Warracknabeal man was found with serious injuries on the side of the road and later died in hospital.
