Police Charge Woman After Assault - Caringbah

A woman is due in court today charged over an alleged assault at Caringbah overnight.

Emergency services were called to Cawarra Road, Caringbah, about 5:30pm Saturday (15 August 2026), following reports of an assault.

Officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command found two men, aged 23 and 45, who had allegedly been assaulted.

An electrical stun device was allegedly used during the assault.

The men sustained minor injuries; however, neither required further medical treatment.

A short time later, police arrested a 27-year-old woman at a nearby unit complex.

She was taken to Sutherland Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others, and affray; she's been refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 10 today (Sunday 16 August 2026).

A white SUV has been seized for further examination and inquiries continue.
