Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman following an alleged fatal hit-run in Coburg last month.
A 40-year-old cyclist was struck by a car on Moreland Road about 6.20pm on 24 August.
The Princes Hill man was taken to hospital where he died the following day.
Police will allege the driver fled the scene without stopping to help the dying man.
A 40-year-old woman was arrested at a Lower Templestowe address yesterday afternoon.
She was interviewed and charged with fail to stop at the scene of an accident, fail to render assistance, fail to report collision to police and drive while suspended.
The Clifton Hill woman will appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court this morning.
Detectives also arrested a 61-year-old Aberfeldie man at an Abbotsford address.
He was interviewed and released pending further enquiries.
Detectives are still searching for a white 2016 Audi Q5 SUV that believed to have visible damage to both the front and passenger side.
The investigation remains ongoing.
