Police charge woman with high-range drink driving with her son in car at Goulburn

A woman has been charged after allegedly being found almost six times over the limit when she crashed into a parked car at Goulburn this afternoon.

About 4.40pm (Wednesday 19 February 2020), police were contacted after a Toyota Kluger crashed into a Holden Commodore parked on Bradley Street, Goulburn, and failed to stop.

Officers from The Hume Police District located the Kluger on Auburn Street and spoke with the female driver and her 14-year-old son.

The woman was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.

She was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station, where she returned a breath analysis reading of 0.289.

The 36-year-old woman was charged with high range PCA and her licence was suspended.

She is due to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday 18 March 2020.
