Police charge youth after an aggravated robbery at Toongabbie

Police today arrested and charged a teenager following an aggravated robbery in Toongabbie earlier this week.

About 5.50am on Monday (9 December 2019), a man was on Targo Road, when he was approached by two youths in an allegedly stolen black Volkswagon Golf.

The man was assaulted before his bag was stolen.

About 6am today (Thursday 12 December 2019), officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a location in Discovery Avenue, Wilmott.

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy at the location and he was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station.

He was charged with robbery in company, carried in conveyance and obtain property by deception (x2)

He was bail refused to appear before a children's court today (Thursday 12 December 2019).
