A 17-year-old boy has been charged with armed robbery over an incident at Moonah in February this year.

It is alleged the youth was armed with a baseball bat when he threatened the occupant of a Moonah residence before stealing $4,850 worth of property.

Nobody was physically injured.

Following an investigation into the incident, the youth was arrested by members of Taskforce Saturday yesterday and charged with armed robbery, aggravated burglary, stealing, and computer related fraud.
