Police concerned for missing father and daughter at Wollongong

Police are appealing for public assistance following concerns for a father and daughter missing from Wollongong.

Trevor Sarmias, aged 41, and Taylor Sarmias, aged eight, were last seen together in Figtree on Tuesday 2 February 2021, and have not been seen or heard from since.

The pair were reported missing to officers from Wollongong Police District yesterday (Monday 8 February 2021), who have commenced inquiries to locate them.

Police hold concerns for the welfare of the pair, as Trevor has not contacted family or friends and Taylor has not attended school.

They are known to frequent the Wollongong area.

Trevor is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with a medium build, short blonde hair and an unshaven face. He was last seen wearing work boots, cargo shorts and a yellow high-visibility shirt.

Taylor is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 140-150cm tall with a thin build, blonde shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a school uniform with a red skirt and white polo top.
