Police concerned for missing Lidcombe woman

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman reported missing after leaving a home in Lidcombe today.

Yon Ok YI, aged 69, was last seen leaving a home on Kerr's Road, Lidcombe, about 1pm today (Sunday 7 July 2019).

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into Yon's whereabouts.

Since her disappearance, police have conducted extensive inquiries, but have been unable to locate Yon.

Police hold serious concerns for Yon's welfare as she suffers from a medical condition and due to the recent inclement weather.

Yon is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with short grey hair. She was last seen wearing a grey coloured beanie, grey coloured long sleeved turtle neck sweater, grey pants, and wearing glasses.
