Police concerned for teen missing from Riverwood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing in Sydney's south-west

Marxus Prescott, aged 14, was last seen at a home on Pennsylvania Road, Riverwood, about 11.30pm last night (Saturday 8 May 2021).

When he later failed to return home, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified today (Sunday 9 May 2021) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Marxus' welfare due to his young age.

Marxus is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be utilising the public transport network and is known to frequent the Sydney City and Hurstville areas.

Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
