A special constable will appear in court today charged with domestic-related offences.
About 5.15pm yesterday (Thursday 23 September 2021), officers from South Sydney Police Area Command were called to a unit in Botany, after reports of a domestic-related incident between a man and woman.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Mascot Police Station.
The man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (DV).
He was refused bail to appear before Central Local Court today (Friday 24 September 2021).
His employment status is under review.
