A civilian employee has been charged with possess prohibited drug following a vehicle search in Sydney.
About 3.20am yesterday (Sunday 10 January 2021), officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were conducting patrols of Oxford Street, Surry Hills, when a 28-year-old man was seen urinating in the street, whilst leaning against a grey Audi sedan
Officers spoke to the man and occupants of the car.
Police searched the vehicle and located prohibited drugs. The driver, a 31-year-old man, was issued a Court Attendance Notice for possess prohibited drug (three counts).
The man, who is attached to a specialist command in the South West Metropolitan Region, is due to appear before Downing Local Court on Wednesday 17 February 2021.
