Police execute warrant at Bankstown

Police have executed a search warrant on a home in Chester Hill yesterday.

Bankstown Detectives received information that occupants of a home in Elke Crescent, Chester Hill, were in possession of firearms and prohibited drugs.

At 8.40pm (Tuesday 25 June 2019), officers from Bankstown Police Area Command, with the assistance of Bass Hill Region Enforcement Squad (RES), executed a search warrant on the Elke Crescent premises.

They seized four rounds of firearm ammunition and three small amounts of suspected prohibited drug (cocaine, cannabis and methylamphetamine).

Police inquiries continue.
