Police hold concerns for welfare of Alice Springs 14 August

Northern Territory Police hold concerns for two people who did not arrive at a campsite during their travels in the remote outback, west of Alice Springs.

Friends of William Lefiot, 25-years-old and Charlene reported the pair as missing to police after they failed to arrive at a prearranged camp spot on Namatjira Drive, near Gosse's Bluff Crater on Wednesday August 12.

The pair are travelling in a 1998 model Maroon Nissan Patrol, which has a silver roof rack and black bulbar and Western Australia registration 1GTF376. It is unknown what provisions they have on them.

Police are conducting inquiries into surrounding locations and campsite, however urge anyone who may have sighted the couple or this vehicle, to contact them on 131 444.
