The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for public assistance to locate a 52-year-old prisoner, Mr Clinton Daylight, who was last seen at the Darwin Bus Exchange at 4:30pm yesterday, 18 February 2026.
Clinton was mistakenly released by the Department of Corrections earlier in the day and the incident was reported to police this afternoon.
He is described as being of Aboriginal in appearance, with a medium build and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a multi-coloured shirt, a brown and black coloured cap, cream-coloured trousers and was carrying a brown and black backpack.
Police are looking for Clinton, and he is urged to return himself into custody as soon as possible.
