Police Hunt Tips in Hazelbrook Indecent Exposure Case

Police are appealing for assistance following an alleged obscene exposure at a train station west of Sydney earlier this year.

On Saturday 3 January 2026, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command received a report of an alleged obscene exposure and assault on the Hazelbrook Railway Station overpass footbridge.

Following the report, officers from Police Transport Command North West Sector commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continues, officers have released CCTV images and a description of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as Caucasian, late 40s, brown/greying short curly hair, greying beard, wearing a grey zip-up jacket, white/red striped t-shirt, blue jeans, black Crocs and a black Puma backpack.

The man was last seen heading in a westerly direction on Great Western Highway towards Hazelbrook town centre.
