Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault and robbery in Box Hill South last night, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told that a 32-year-old man went to get into his car in Massey Street about 6pm.
It’s believed he was attacked by at least two men and rendered unconscious before his black 2013 Honda CRV, registration ZRK-896, was stolen.
Witnesses have told police that another car was driven from the scene by one of the offenders.
The victim has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
