Police investigate aggravated burglary and arson

Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in South Yarra last month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed unknown offender/s entered a Darling Street property sometime between 30 December and 31 December.

A number of items were stolen from the apartment including laptops, wallet, credit cards and car keys.

The keys were used to steal a white Holden Commodore sedan from the basement car park.

The vehicle was used in a petrol theft at 12.15am on 3 January at a Port Melbourne service station.

It was then located about 2.15am destroyed by fire on the corner of Carmody Avenue and Wattle Grove Road in Cairnlea.

Investigators have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
