Police investigate armed robbery at Bannockburn service station

Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a service station was robbed at Bannockburn early this morning.

Police have been told three unknown male offenders attended the service station on the Midland Highway just after 1am.

The offenders forced entry via the locked sliding doors and threatened the attendant with a knife before making demands for cash.

Cash was handed over and the offenders also stole cigarettes and energy drinks before running from the scene.

No one was physically injured.

The offenders were all wearing hooded jumpers and had their faces covered.

Detectives have released images and CCTV of three men that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Investigators believe the same offenders robbed the same service station just after 4am on Sunday 1 March.

They threatened the attendant with a knife before stealing cash and cigarettes.
