Police investigate armed robbery at Caboolture

Police are searching for a man who robbed a service station while attempting to disguise himself with a recyclable shopping bag at Caboolture last night.

Just before 8.30pm the man produced a knife and made demands towards the female attendant at the Lower King Street store.

The staff member complied with his demands and the man left the business with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

During the robbery, the man attempted to hide his identity by wearing a blue shopping bag on his head before removing it to carry the stolen cigarettes.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 165-170cm tall with short dark hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who may recognise the man depicted in the CCTV footage (below) is urged to contact police.
