Police investigate armed robbery at Edens Landing 1 July

Logan police have charged a 20-year-old Edens Landing man after he allegedly robbed two boys at knifepoint yesterday (June 30).

Around 10.30am the man allegedly approached the boys at an Eddy Avenue park in Edens Landing armed with a flick knife.

The man allegedly demanded the boys hand over their scooters, a mobile phone and an electronic speaker, before leaving the park with the property.

Police investigations led to the man being arrested a short time later at a residence in Delanty Court.

He was charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon. He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
