Police are investigating the armed robbery of a business at Helensvale last night, 25 March.
Around 8pm, two males attended a liquor-store on Sir John Overall Drive.
One of the males produced a knife and the pair threatened the 57-year-old male employee.
The pair then stole a number of alcohol items before fleeing on foot towards the Pacific Motorway.
The staff member did not sustain any physical injuries during the incident.
Police were notified and arrived a short time later. Officers conducted patrols but were unable to locate the two males.
Detectives asking anyone with relevant information or CCTV/dash camera vision of the area to come forward.
Investigations continue.
