Police investigate armed robbery at licensed venue at Bald Hills

North Brisbane detectives investigating an early morning robbery of a Bald Hills licensed venue in which staff where threatened with a firearm, are appealing for public assistance.

Shortly after 3am on Friday, May 28 two men entered the Griffiths Street venue, one armed with a firearm, and entered the gaming area.

A female employee was struck once in the head with the firearm, before the pair stole money from two cash registers.

The woman sustained a bruising to her face. No one else was physically injured.

Both men then fled on foot and were last seen on Gympie Road heading towards Wakefield Street.

Both men had their heads and face covered and wore long sleeve tops and long trousers (images below).

One of the men is described as approximately 170cms tall, having a dark complexion, aged around 30 and possibly spoke with a New Zealand accent.

The other man was aged between 20 and 30, Caucasian with a proportionate build.
