Police investigate armed robbery at Mooroobool

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a liquor store in Mooroobool last night.

Just before 8pm, six people, some armed with hockey sticks, demanded money from the male store attendant.

The six people then fled the Swallow Street store with a sum of cash and alcohol.

Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

No one was physically injured during the incident and investigations are continuing.
