Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Slacks Creek 22 April

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a tobacco shop in Slacks Creek last night, 21 April.

Just before midnight police attended the Kingston Road shop after reports two men had entered the store and threatened the staff member with a knife.

The offenders have stolen cartons of cigarettes and fled through the rear door of the shop.

The offenders were described as both being Pacific Islander in appearance, with solid build. Both offenders were wearing face coverings at the time of the offence.

The staff member was not physically injured.

Police are urging anyone with information or CCTV or dash cam footage to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
