Police investigate armed robbery at vehicle stolen at Beenleigh

Police are searching for two men who stole a four-wheel-drive at gunpoint at Beenleigh in the early hours of this morning

Around 12.50am, a 28-year-old man from Manly was sitting in his distinctive green and grey coloured 2012 Great Wall X200 four-wheel-drive with Queensland registration 173 YRZ (actual vehicle pictured) near a skate park at Logan Street when two men approached his vehicle.

One of the men was armed with a firearm and demanded the man get out of the car. The male driver refused and attempted to reverse at which time the man armed with the firearm used it to smash the car window. The driver then exited the vehicle at this time.

The men got into the vehicle and drove away.

The first man is described as Caucasian with a skinny build wearing a white hoodie and the second man is described as having a stocky build and wearing a red hoodie.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
