Police investigate attempted armed robbery at Rasmussen

Police are investigating following an attempted armed robbery at a property in Rasmussen this afternoon, December 2.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 1pm, a woman, armed with a knife, attempted to steal car keys from a 27-year-old woman outside the address.

A 25-year-old man, who was home at the time, sustained minor injuries while trying to intervene.

The woman left the scene in a dark-coloured Mazda BT50.

The 27-year-old woman was not physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
