Police Investigate Attempted Armed Robbery At Torquay

Detectives are appealing to the public for information in relation to an attempted armed robbery in Torquay yesterday, May 25.

Initial reports suggest around 1.20am a man with what appeared to be a conductive electronic device approached two people on Bideford Street and demanded property.

The two victims ran away without injury and no property was stolen.

The man is described as Caucasian and was wearing a black hoodie and long black pants.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of the area around 1.20am on May 25 is urged to contact police.
