Police investigate attempted armed robbery at Kelmscott

Regional Investigations Unit detectives are seeking information regarding an attempted armed robbery in Kelmscott today, Wednesday 17 March 2021.

About 5:30am a man entered a lunch bar on River Road armed with a piece of concrete and approached a staff member in a threatening manner. He fled the premises a short time later, after throwing the piece of concrete at the staff member.
The offender is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 160cm tall, wearing a black t-shirt and pants, black slip-on thongs and a green surgical mask.
