Sexual Crime Squad detectives are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted in the Bendigo suburb of Kennington this morning., Victoria Police say
The 37-year-old woman pulled over to use the public toilets at Kennington Reservoir on Reservoir Road about 11am.
When the woman entered the toilets she was confronted by a man who has sexually assaulted her before leaving.
It’s not known whether the man left the area on foot or by vehicle.
The man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, aged between 30-40, about 175cm tall, with an olive complexion, brown hair, unshaven face and was wearing a navy blue windcheater and jeans.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area and noticed any suspicious behaviour or a man fitting the description.
They would also like to speak to anyone who saw any vehicles in the car park or has a dashcam and passed the reservoir around the time of the incident.
