Police investigate Brunswick aggravated burglary

Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary and theft in Brunswick last month.

The occupant of the Grantham Street property was asleep when an unknown male gained access to the unit sometime between 4am-4.30am on 27 December.

The intruder has stolen a wallet and subsequently used the victims credit card numerous times in Brunswick and Coburg.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as aged in his 50s, 170cm tall and was wearing black rimmed glasses, black cap, black hooded top and blue jeans.
