Police investigate Brunswick East hit-run

Brunswick police are appealing for witnesses after two pedestrians were hit by a car in Brunswick East on Monday 19 July.

Police have been told a red Subaru was travelling north on Lygon Street and turned east bound onto Glenlyon Road before hitting two pedestrians just after 8pm.

It is believed a man and woman, both aged in their 40s had a green man when crossing Glenlyon Road and the driver of the vehicle failed to stop.

A Richmond man and a Brunswick East woman were both taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are hoping to speak to the driver of the vehicle described as a red Subaru with roof racks.
