Police are investigating a stabbing at an apartment on Little Bourke Street this morning, Victoria Police say.
Police have been told an altercation took place just before 7am when an 18-year-old North Coburg man was stabbed by two males who had been visiting the apartment.
Both alleged offenders fled the scene on foot and are yet to be located.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A second male received minor injuries and is refusing to assist police with their enquiries at this stage.
A number of people that were present are assisting police with enquiries.
Investigators wish to speak to three males seen leaving the area following the incident.
Two are perceived to be of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance and one of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance.
