Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire at the old Claremont Primary school site last night.
Tasmania Fire Service was notified of the incident about 9pm last night, with units from Glenorchy, Claremont, Bridgewater and Hobart stations attending,
Damage was limited to the front part of the vacant building.
A fire scene investigation has been carried out and the fire was determined to be deliberately lit.
Police are calling for members of the public to provide information including any CCTV or dash cam footage.
