Police investigate Fairfield stolen car crash

Police are investigating a stolen car crash where two offenders fled the scene in Fairfield on Friday night.

Emergency services were called to Grange Road about 9.30pm to reports of a two-car collision.

Investigators have been told two females fled from the offending vehicle, a blue Mazda 3 sedan.

A 32-year-old Brookfield man and 26-year-old Reservoir woman, who were travelling in the second vehicle, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police have confirmed the Mazda was stolen from New South Wales.
