Police Investigate Fatal Burketown Traffic Crash

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Gregory yesterday afternoon.

Investigations indicate around 2.40pm, a motorcycle was travelling northwest on Nardoo Burketown Road near Leichardt falls, when the rider left the road and crashed.

The rider, a 60-year-old Townsville man, died at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
