Police investigate fatal cyclist crash -Campbelltown

A cyclist has died and another cyclist was hospitalised following a head-on collision in Ingleburn overnight.

About 11.10pm (Wednesday 19 February 2020), emergency services were called to Harold Street, Ingleburn following reports two cyclists were involved in a head-on collision.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated a 49-year-old man, however, he could not be revived. Another man, aged 38, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and initiated investigations into the circumstances behind the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
