Police Investigate Harkness Home Invasion

Brimbank Divisional Response Unit officers are investigating a home invasion in Harkness that occurred in late March.

It is understood 11 unknown offenders attended a property on Claret Ash Boulevard in three stolen vehicles about 3.25am on 30 March.

The offenders used a number of weapons to smash through windows and doors at the property.

Once inside, they caused significant damage throughout the house.

Fortunately, the homeowners were not inside the house at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released an image of a group of people who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

They are described as youths wearing gloves, masks, black clothing and carrying machetes, shovels, poles, metal bars and bats.

The stolen vehicles have since been recovered by police.
