Police investigate home invasion in Wodonga

Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a home invasion in Wodonga earlier this month.

Detectives have been told a silver two door vehicle pulled up outside a house on Edinburgh Court about 6.30am on Friday 11 February.

It is believed two men forced their way into the home and assaulted a man who was sitting on a couch in the living room.

The offenders then fled the scene in the silver coupe.

The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his upper body.

Investigators have released a digital image of a man in the hope someone may recognise him, and an image of the vehicle believed to be involved.

The first offender is perceived to be southern European in appearance and aged in his mid-30s.

The second offender is described as Caucasian, aged in his 40s to 50s and has grey hair with grey facial hair.
