Police are investigating after an alleged assault in Southport today, Queensland Police say.
Around 9.30am emergency services were called to a George Street unit after a man sought refuge there suffering non-life threatening injuries.
Police are currently investigating the circumstance surrounding the incident.
No further information is available at this time and investigations are continuing.
